throw me in back with the wires and the wood
cables and speakers
pedal down into cold
let's cut some ice on the paths that we took
when younger and weaker
every road leading home
through chicago
we're tracing steps in january snow
no matter where we go
enamored by the romance of the road
no matter where we go
loaded with coffee, south from milwaukee
i'm staring down this pavement with you
in our van with our friends hoping this won't end
my hope is in this pavement and you
we're tracing steps in january snow
no matter where we go
enamored by the romance of the road
no matter where we go
i'll do my best with whatever is left
our only mistake was to never have left
i might miss a note, but tonight i won't let you down
Taking cues from Midwestern emo and early ’10 pop punk, this Leeds, UK outfit are full of heart— not to mention hooks. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 21, 2022
On their self-titled debut, Pkew Pkew Pkew deliver roaring, in-the-red, gang-shouted rock songs about pizza, beer, and...pizza and beer. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 29, 2016
Truly amazing record. Whiskey-soaked vocals, tight melodies and fantastic lyrics roll together in a wash of punk energy. More akin to an amped up JAWBREAKER or a revved up BEACH SLANG than pop-punk, there isn't a weak track on it. Excellent. Pick of the week for sure... Michael F.
