there's resolution in the words that you use
words that changed me
i've got substitutions for particular truths
i hope they'll save me
deadweight familiar concrete
under our feet, under our feet
we reason we know stone to speak
the same things we say we want
we turn our backs on time and time again
there's a static in his signal to you
she never fills the holes in your heart like she used to
assurances like serenades from the moon
transactions in our exits once again
the same things we say we want
we turn our backs on time and time again
there's a broken picture frame of a love you knew
adjacent to the skeleton excuses that you used
we're stumbling to the floor in nearly everything we do
we turn backs on time and time again

Truly amazing record. Whiskey-soaked vocals, tight melodies and fantastic lyrics roll together in a wash of punk energy. More akin to an amped up JAWBREAKER or a revved up BEACH SLANG than pop-punk, there isn't a weak track on it. Excellent. Pick of the week for sure... Michael F.
