if there is one thing that i'm sure of
it's that i'm actually not sure at all
and i've grown tired of this kind of racing
but lately my mind has an iron resolve
there's been enough to prompt my leaving
if i could somehow just reach out my hand
to your face just to touch you to hold you and feel you believe
send every car the police and the guards cause i'm sure you committed a crime here
I'm victimized by the sounds that you make
even your smile is in on the take
the morning knows you'll always be there
but the truth is i don't have a say
at the end of the day it's just me, you, & these motions we go through
don't tell me that you don't believe
send every car the police and the guards cause i'm sure you committed a crime here
i swore off the pedestals for all my voids
i break all my vows for the sound of your voice
i could accept and hold strong
if i could just stop singing all of the words to your song
Taking cues from Midwestern emo and early ’10 pop punk, this Leeds, UK outfit are full of heart— not to mention hooks. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 21, 2022
On their self-titled debut, Pkew Pkew Pkew deliver roaring, in-the-red, gang-shouted rock songs about pizza, beer, and...pizza and beer. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 29, 2016
Truly amazing record. Whiskey-soaked vocals, tight melodies and fantastic lyrics roll together in a wash of punk energy. More akin to an amped up JAWBREAKER or a revved up BEACH SLANG than pop-punk, there isn't a weak track on it. Excellent. Pick of the week for sure... Michael F.
